ANOTHER PICTURE FOR THE CURMUDGEON FILES
As many of you are aware, I am a great fan of Queen Elizabeth II. (I'm counting down the days for her to beat Queen Victoria at the reigning game.) Many of you are also aware that I am a curmudgeon and I delight in collecting pictures of curmudgeonly people or people sporting curmudgeonly looks. Well, I've found another picture for my collection, thanks to my discovery of Janelle McCulloch's A Library of Design. This gal has a great blog and a great sense of humor. I don't know who takes credit for snapping this particular picture, but I am indebted to them and to Janelle. I think the picture adds a certain je ne sait quoi to my collection.
Wow, never mind the look, I love the outfit; coral and violet...who would have guessed these two colours would look so good together, with a touch of darker violet on the hat. Cocoa Chanel revisited.
ReplyDeleteNow, this is a look that could be equally stunning on just about any woman, from the young and comely to the elderly and sour(and let's face it, friends, unfortunately we're seeing such expressions from her more and more often, of late).
Perhaps she's sick and tired of her job and just wants to retire. Or perhaps she's contemplating another fifty years on the throne because she simply can't find anyone to replace her.
